Anthony Taylor

Director – BE (Civil) Hons, CMEngNZ, CPEng, IntPE

Anthony first started working with Clendon Burns & Park in 1999 as an eager young Graduate Engineer from the University of Canterbury. His enthusiasm led him to work in the heart of London for two years, where he contributed to a number of award-winning projects, before returning to share his experience with our team.

Anthony has experience in a large range of work including temporary set design for International films, design and construction monitoring of many commercial, and school buildings around the Wellington region and throughout New Zealand.

He has worked on a number of significant projects, including the St Mary of the Angels church, Amesbury school, and Mytika Apartments. He has also help design two significant low-damage buildings within the Wellington region, incorporating new PRESSS technology. One of which is the Kenepuru Dialysis Unit, which is designed as a Post-disaster facility with an Importance Level of 4.

Anthony has been instrumental in helping CBP expand its knowledge base. He has also continued with his own professional development, particularly in the area of sustainability. He has become a member of the New Zealand Green Building Council and undertaken Parts 1 & 2 training as an accredited Green Star Professional. He is also trained as a Rapid Building Assessor, and is a Chartered Professional Engineer.

His hard work ethic and commitment to getting the job done right saw Anthony promoted to Director in April 2017.
